New map not working, invisible character

Have you tried to really wipe all userdata of PvZ GW from your harddrive as well? No worries, progress is saved on the cloud. Just seems like some misconfig or misload

I have tried everything people have suggested it. I don't even care that I can't play the map, it's the fact I have to restart my xbox every time that map comes up since it freezes.

Since you're on Xbox One, it wont completely solve the problem but should save you from restarting you Xbox when you hang there.
Hit the Xbox Button on your controller so you reach the dashboard, press Start and select Quit. It'll just close Garden Warfare, allowing you to boot the game again.
