Just a little fun topic here, lets hear your suggestions for new variants for existing classes! Keep it simple, use the following format and try not to suggest something that has already been suggested! Maybe the fine folks at Popcap and EA will find some inspiration from the community! Corn:Toxic Corntrait: deals toxic damageFor his design I feel he should be a decayed rotten corn,like a rotten apple. I feel he could be powerful with the fast fire rate corn normally has so toxic corn maybe should have a slower fire rate or reduced damage.Kettle Corntrait: if shots miss they explode after one or two seconds like jade cactus. I know someone mentioned this earlier but I want to expand this idea. There already is a popcorn style corn so with the kettlecorn his sugary coated popcorn bursts when hitting surfaces.Citron:Toxic CitronTrait: deals toxic damageSimilar to the design of toxic corn with the rotten withered style. Maybe have a reduced damage for toxic citron.Blood CitronTrait: Able to gain health from damage done (similar to life leech)Now blood citron mimics the blood orange and I am not sure if this trait should be kept for I feel it might be to powerful for a class if such high health. But I just wanted to throw it out there.Clementine CitronTrait: has less health,is smaller, more mobile and faster, hit and run styleThis citron I feel woukd be a imp varient where he is fast and mobile and has a fast firing speed but overheats quickly. His attack also wouldn't do to much damage and he woukd be a harder target to hit being smaller but has to be played a tad bit more causious with his lower health.Cactus:Citrus Cactus (can't think of another name)trait: three burst shotFrom the first game there was citrus cactus who had a very diverse mechanic and that was her three burst shot. I feel another cactus should be brought in and it doesn't have to be citrus cactus just another cactus that has this mechanic. I feel it will help with a more aggrressive sniper playstyle which will be helpful in herbal assualt. She will have decent damage allowing her to fight mid to somewhat close range and not having bandit cactus just be the one agrressive sniper. Scientist:Disease Researcher (Can't recall the actual name)trait: fires parasites that latch on to his enemies that cause a temporary lingering effectI am unsure what the lingering effect would be but this was another idea I just wanted to throw out there. Now he would deal lower damage compared to all the other scientists however he makes up for it with the lingering effect weakening his enemies for his teammates to finish them off. This creates a different playstyle for him compared to the other scientists that creates a more hit and run tactic instead of a total slaughter.All-Star:Soccer StarTrait: fires soccer cleats that either slow down his enemies or does extra damage to armor/shield varients I at first thought he could be a legendary but I was unsure what his bar would be and do and felt that soccer balls were not small enough to work with the similar sized guns all his varients currently have.Pirate:Lookout Petetrait: has enhanced zoom when aimed down sight (camo cactus)Lookout Pete I felt mimicks the mate who mans the crows nest on a ship that always must keep a look out hence why he has the enhanced zoom.Captain Gulmantrait: could be toxic not sure what others think let me knowCaptain Gulman is a pirate covered in seaguls who has bird poop on his shirt and a nest on or as his hat. His gun is a bit similar to the park rangers way of ammo and reload. He has a seagul that is in the gun that shoots bird poop hence why it could be a toxic varient. Now I am unsure if this idea for a varient could work out in design with the whole bird poop part. If not he could just shoot seaguls or something like that.

The elementologist. A scientist variant with 4 shots that do regular damage. The last shot in the magazine causes a random status effect. He also reloads slightly faster.

Some kind of metal music based super brains. He would have long black hair and chains all over. His attack would be called Death-metal punch or Mosh mayhem. His attacks would have the new sound wave effect.
A yeti imp. His guns would shoot snowballs with splash- damage. His mech would be a big yeti that eats him. The mech would throw giant snow boulders and he would have a frozen meat club.

There is a ice engineer in pvzgw 2 but it was not released during beta

One imp variant could become Gargantuar instead of a mech... extremely slow speed with an imp cannon, stomp, and rush attack as his abilities.

How about a sniper variant for soldier that uses a bolt-action sniper With 5 rounds named HCAB (High Caliber Assault Blaster)
And his description would pay homage to Campers in video games. I'll make a detailed version if you want to.
Also, his ammo would HHR (Highly Hurtful Rounds)

We have a camo solider with a sniper already. Hes made for camping too. If you mean something like the camo cactus then no please
