Nightcap doesn’t need nerf
Okay for all you people screaming for Nightcap nerf; put a sock in it and learn how to aim, dodge or think. 75 health, 2 defensive/evasive abilities and one powerful offensive/defensive... dependin...
Well, if you can be deadly with any character, why play as Nightcap as your main? I've only played as her for half a match. But aside from her stealth, her Fu attack, and zipping all over the place, I think the main reason people like being her is because her primary weapon is forgiving. You basically just have to aim in an opponents general direction, and you'll do major damage. Where every other character I've played so far requires you to be precise in your aiming, just to hit the body, let alone land headshots for any real damage. Nightcap basically lets you play like GW2 does, where you can be successful without being an expert shooter. Which I think most of us GW players are not. One of the reasons we love the franchise so much is because it was about fun not being so technically skilled. I think that's one of the main issues I have with this game. They want you to be way more accurate in your shooting ability than GW ever expected of you, while making it even more difficult to do so by the nature of how small the characters are and their jerky movements.
I do think the shooting mechanics alone will turn off a huge chunk of the classic GW crowd. Those were the shooter games for people like me, who don't like shooters. I've never played Overwatch or any of the others I've read ppl on here trying to compare BFN to, but the very fact you can make a comparison to those games, means it's lost something GW has. GW is in a league of it's own. BFN doesn't belong there.
I have to totally agree with you on your response. GW was forgiving also in the sense that each class was an army in their own respect (I rant about this in this thread here that I made). I've been through the forums and have seen people talking about having to lead shots, which to me is ridiculous considering that the old GW games were about movement and action. How am I supposed to lead a shot if by the time I've gotten it down I'm killed by something. The fact that Nightcap has a fast-moving slash, versus Foot Soldier's tiny paintballs, is ridiculous. I loved GW2 because I didn't NEED to be a good shot, I just had fun playing the game! But now I'm shooting at nothing while 5 Nightcaps decimate me. WHERE AM I SUPPOSED TO SHOOT HER WHILE SHE'S USING FUNG FU!? It's ludicrous. I get that she can be an easy kill for some specific moves, but surprise surprise, EVERYONE dies fast to most of those.

Aim at the bottom middle of her “circle” or the spot Fung Fu is initiated.
I hit (approx) 75% of my shots like that. Spam low.
😊
@spIash_damageUmm...I have tried using the RPG on her, and I can never hit her when she's flashing in and out all around me. I think only once did I manage to kill a Cap with an RPG upclose. Other than that, I've only gotten a couple of kills from a distance with the primary weapon on her while she's distracted with fighting another zombie. She's just too damn hard to hit.

I can confirm that her ‘centre of mass’ during KF is still in the middle. When I was SuperZombie©️ I did heroic fist in the middle while she was doing it and killed her
Frankly, I agree with that, I feel like people will need some time to figure how to counter Fung fu with every class, it definitely a strong AOE damage but he can't run during it and it have a rather slow and very obvious startup that give you time to pop a ability to either escape or outright kill the nightcap.
I already saw someone not even giving the right type of advice vs Fung fu, during it nightcap have a rather beefy damage resist and move all over the place, you mostly want to do something before it come out unless he's very low
The one other thing night cap is actually good at is with is primary weapon and frankly, it more the fact that nightcap is imo the only character that can actually kill stuff with a automatic weapon, pretty much every other character with automatic weapon are bad right now:
foot soldier is bad, corn is bad , imp is bad without z mech, acorn without oak is bad, sunflower primary is extra bad, cactus primary is bad but fine by design, only all-star, snapdragon and rose have workable automatic weapon but they still have a weakness to go with it. See the pattern? Nightcap only seem good because every other "assault rifle" type of character are hella bad right now and the alternative have some other notable weakness imo buffing them should be the priority balance wise.
Nightcap most likely is going to get a nerf, just like imp did. If you try to play imp now, he feels like glass instead of a glass cannon. I don’t want them to nerf nightcap to the ground like they did to nip. Maybe I have to play imp more and get better at him, but I don’t feel his cannon potential anymore... please don’t hurt nightcap too much, I’ll rather have buffs to damage for other classes than a nerf to fung fu. Maybe she has too much escape potential. Also people love playing assassins that do a whole lot of damage. People just love getting a whole lot of vanquishes. Remember GW2 with all the imps and impkata? It’s basically normal to see a whole lot of assassins in any shooters.
