I bought the Nintendo Switch version thinking that I could do the PVE Free Roam regions like Town Center with my friends. However, when we group up in Giddy Park and then try to go to Town Center, it says "Unable to do this activity while in a group". I can't make private matches with my group either. Have these features been disabled in the Switch version? If so, the description on the main store page is very misleading!
The Switch version is touted as the "Complete Edition" but not its not feature complete! We want Coop PVE Free Roam!
I am glad this was brought up. I had this same problem as well. I want to play with my online group of 4 but cannot do the free roam regions nor any private matches.
If we cannot play private matches with our friends, then what is that feature even for?
Hopefully there will be an update soon to add online Co-op to the free roam region!
I know that currently on the Switch Edition, unlike other platforms, you cannot do free-roam regions in a group, however hopefully as the game has recently been released on the Switch, there will be an update patching this.
