No Ammo Upgrade for Super Commando?

I've maxed my super commando but did not get the Ammo Upgrade but 2 Reload Upgrades instead? Read somewhere that you're supposed to get the Ammo Upgrade. Is that a glitch?

someone mentioned Super Commado's ammo upgrade in GW1 was what made him OP.
