Noob Help
So I have never touched a pvz fps before, and i’m really struggling to learn the basics. I don’t know what a good character would be for someone like me, someone who doesn’t know a lick about any of ...
@Casenator485 Once you save up enough coins, I highly recomend you purchase the Wizard Zombie from Rux store. In my 500 hours of playing the game I have found him to be the easiest to play by far. He has an extremely simple kit that is very easy to master.
Once you get enough upgrades, you'll find that in most situations as wizard, all you'll have to do to win a fight is activate his spell disaster ability. It creates 5 (maybe more?) homing projectiles that deal 80 dmg each. These things have insane homing they'll follow people around corners. Unlike SnapDragon's Blue Blazes ability, you do not have to aim spell disaster at all.
His Costar ability works as a great escape tool and is also just rly good at supporting allies. It gives you an extra health bar aswell as a homing weapon with splash damage. Because homing isnt already good enough by itself, wizard gets extra splash dmg with his Costar primary : ^)
Zeelixir is a very braindead ability. You throw it down on either zombies or plants. When a zombie is splashed by it, they are granted invulnerability and are cleansed from most negative plant status effects (including jinx, goatify, grody goop, etc.). You can also use it on a zombie as they are being swallowed by a chomper. Simply throw it as he bursts out of the ground as he attempts to eat somene.
When thrown onto plants, it does a number of diffrent things.
It will:
In short, Zeelixir when thrown on zombies = 1.5 seconds of invincibility, Zeelixir when thrown on plants = plant nervous system is shut down for 3 whole seconds
For the upgrades, I recommend taking "hard target" = 3 points, "Ve-o-sa" = only 2 points (equip when you unlock it at a later rank) and "Wand Wammo" - also only 2 points (equip when you unlock it at a later rank). Until you unlock those last 2 upgrades, still feel free to use hard target. It gives you insane movespeed and only costs 3 of your 7 points. This is the build I use the most on him atm. He has a multitude of other really good upgrades but if you just want a straight up unga bunga easy mode character to play then this is the upgrade build for you. Honestly the only upgrade u need on wizard to be even remotely decent is hard target.
