Over 8 million PvZ GW coins incorrectly awarded to me after a Garden Ops match

I played a Garden Ops match a couple of hours ago with 3 other players, Hard difficulty, Zomboss Estate map. It was a completely normal match, up until the post-match screen that displays the rewards / match stats / etc. We won all 10 waves plus the Crazy Dave rescue. Then, on the post-match reward page, myself and at least one my teammates were awarded between 8,000,000 and 8,100,000 million coins (I don't remember the exact amount). I didn't think to take a screenshot as for whatever reason, it never dawned on me about how points awarded for a match is equal to coins awarded. The strange thing is the host of the match was awarded the correct amount (12,000 coins, give or take a few).

Then, after leaving the lobby, all 8 million plus coins were included in my total. Now shocked, I immediately closed out of the game and restarted it. To my surprise (and discouragement), all of the 8M+ coins were still there. So I check my stickerbook, and it showed the correct, legitimately-awarded coin total (approximately 688,000 coins earned). I then thought if I played another match, the 8M+ coins will disappear and instead show the correct amount. Unfortunately, now it just added on to the already absurd total of coins I had. I even tried spending 1,000 of them on a consumables sticker pack, hoping it would reset and show my legitimate total. And of course to my further discouragement all it did was take off 1,000 coins from my 8M+ total.

Since then, I have tried quite a lot to try to get this game to show the correct coin total, such as: logging out of Origin, closing out of Origin, repairing the game in Origin, and restarting my PC. And it's still showing 8M+ coins in my total.

One of my favorite features about this game is the leveling up system, which includes the few thousand of coins you get after each match. I very much enjoy slowly saving up 20K-40K coins at a time to buy a sticker pack, to slowly unlock characters / upgrades / etc. So incorrectly acquiring over 8 million coins instantly from a single match is a major upset to me, as I can now afford 400 of the 20K coin packs, completely defeating the purpose and the fun of earning coins in the game.

So, any help over this matter will be greatly appreciated, whether it be by a fellow PvZ:GW player that's had this glitch happen to them or knows someone that has. Or by an EA staff member that might be able to look into this problem for me, I would greatly appreciate it. 🙂
