Two of those and one pack of stickers, you are halfway to the next level. All 4 of those achievements are barely achievements anyway. Took under 5 hours to get 3/4 of those and under 10 for the last. (This was without skip stars)In the end rank is for one person's pride and one person's only, that is the player. It means nothing to anyone else so don't expect it to. (I could be max rank but, I choose not to use skip stars. I do this for MY enjoyment, not to show off.) Anyone foolish enough to make accusations is just jealous.

Let's be clear, rank IS pointless. However, that does not mean your rank is meaningless. By all means, get max rank with 0 skip stars, get it by skip stars, buy it. The only person who gets value or enjoyment from your rank is you. Nobody ever has or ever will care what your rank is, nor should you care about theirs.I repeat, ever since skip stars become their current rarity rank lost all of it's value. Rubberbanding a control stick for 2 weeks and buying coins are the same thing, both take 0 effort and require skip stars. (and yes players did do that before buying coins was announced, I caught several who stood at spawn and ran in circles only to get end game bonuses)It's fine to take pride in your rank, but don't expect others to acknowledge it.

It doesn't really matter, they might suddenly have coins but that's not going to get them everything. Even if it did, that won't make them skilled, if they don't have the patience to get there on their own by actually playing, their attention isnt' going to stay with the game once they do unlock everything anyway. I've earned over 8 million coins just playing the game, so I don't get why anyone would pay for them anyway. You're essentially paying them to play the game for you, effectively taking awa replay value from the game and shortchanging yourself in the long run.If people want to pay someone to play the game for them, that's their problem. All theyr'e doing is wasting enjoyment and gameplay time that they could have spent leveling up and earning coins the legit way. Basically they're going to the movie theatre and paying the guy next to them to watch the movie while they nap, completely wasting their money twice over.

My stance remains the same. If people want to waste money (This is a fact not opinion) on coins they can earn in game by all means let them. They throw away money and the developers make more content. Having consumables, cosmetics, even other classes and the few upgrades that exist means nothing for gameplay. A good player needs none of that, and a bad player doesn't get better for having it. However...The moment items are added that are exclusive to USD I am out. And that is the last time I trust EA. (Doesn't matter if they are consumables or characters, I am not paying for content) Lucky for EA there aren't many people like me who were raised on mario and spyro that hate seeing blanks in checklists.

Except if you play a classic mode, nothing that anyone paid for is available.

Besides, what you're telling me is that because some people will be able to get a character a little faster, those people will be able to win? Dude, if getting the snow pea with upgrades without having to play 20 matches makes you SUDDENLY WIN, then man, you have some far bigger problems to figure out.

The classes don't dictate how good someone is, and if you don't like other players having upgrades and variants, play classic. Or hell, go back to Welcome Mat, because it seems to fit your maturity level.

This is most definitely not a pay to win title. People that suck will still suck. They are just paying EA to play the game for them.
I just don't understand why people would even buy games in the first place... if they're just turning around and buying what can be earned anyways and taking away the reason for playing in the first place.

Well there's a big difference between the option of paying for cosmetics (that can also be earned through play), and the option of being able to buy sticker packs that not only unlock new characters, but also give you skip challenges to raise your rank. To be honest I even despise the route of paying for cosmetics, especially that can't be earned through play, however when you start getting things like skip challenges to raise your rank what's the point of having a rank showing in the first place? Exactly.
And RaineyKins, this isn't about maturity level. If I want to play in the welcome mat I could do so and do even better than I already do in GaG mode. This doesn't affect player skill I'm aware of that. I am good enough already to be competitive in the game. What bothers me is that it allows you to skip your way through the ranks, completely undermining the ranking system.

It's lame but idc, because no matter how much $ some noob spends on coins i'm still going to stomp him into the ground. As long as they don't start lowering the coin payouts to try and force us to buy into the sticker packs or raise future sticker pack prices... i could care less really. The zomboss down pack concerned me from the moment i seen it. It told me they plan to add new content and the only way to unlock it is to buy THAT specific pack... what if the next relevant pack is 50k coins or more? Because i'm pretty sure they WILL do this and the packs WILL get more expensive. Oh sure, the starter content they first launched is cheap enough... heck even the the new DLC pack isn't too shabby. But just wait dude, the next one will be expensive i would bet anything on it. THAT is when i'm going to get mad. If it makes me mad enough I WILL VOTE WITH MY WALLET, mark my words!

So NOW your arguement is that "Winning" is dictated by a ranking system that has absolutely no bearing on whether you win matches or not?

Skip Challenge stickers already existed. Rank is no more accurately measured in your head now than it will be later, because people are using skip stickers right now anyways, and I will reiterate, High Rank /= "Winning"

And lastly, in a game like this, what does Rank even matter? If your "Naturally aquired rank" so important to you that you'd demonify the ability for others to get to the same point easier?

No that's not my argument. Winning is dedicated by skill and if you read my post you'd see I mentioned that being able to buy packs won't affect skill. The ranking system is now just pointless because you could easily have just outright bought it. And yes, rank does matter. Maybe not to you, but to lots of people it does.
