@dastrictorIt really has been constant frustration being a pvz fan lately. You can clearly tell the fans are passionate about the series hence why we've seen more animations about the shooters and fangames of the tower defense games over time especially since the gw anniversary just happened.
I just want the games to be loved again because there's clearly none here with how shoddy this whole update has been alongside a fair amount of heroes players reporting issues after their latest update too. Is it sad that i think the game should be given to the community and that they could do a genuinely better job at this rate? They would atleast try to get things like the portal rotation changed and be honest about any difficulties along the way.
Every since the update flopped this has been the general consensus of many posts on the subreddit for garden warfare and even the regular pvz sub:
How do you mishandle a series so badly that a image like this is becoming commonplace of how people feel?

It's clear that the games do sell when the right time and effort is put into them. It's just that the management of them sucks as seen with the cancellation of several promising projects for no good reason.
They clearly want the series to branch out and expand but they keep tripping over their own feet. Self sabotage at its ugliest.
Apparently they have been banning people criticizing them on the discord (apparently some were being rude but after everything thats happened I understand why so many are just taking the gloves off at this point) so who knows what will happen next since they havent said anything here yet.
