The anti cheat update to gw2 pc has been a complete waste of time. This anti cheat bascially runs the game much worse now and removes compability for mutliuple platofrms. The only thing anti cheat actually does is check that you running cheat engine.(nvm theres a bypass for that too) The lvl 46 ban still works, boss mods online and mods in general still work for free. This update was a complete joke and just makes the game worse to play for people that are not trying to cheat. All of the issues from before are still here. Honestly the update should just be reverted this is a complete joke. The game just runs worse with no actual fixes. Thanks EA for making the game worse for no reason.

the anti cheat was released but cheaters can bypass it in the same day, now have less compatibility with some operating systems(i can't play in steam deck now) making this a complete waste of time and they don't wan't to put boss hunt and cats vs dinos in the mystery portal rotation?PvZ is my favorite franchise and PvZ GW2 my favorite game, but this make me feel upset and disappointed

I'm guessing there just isn't a flag for people using old versions of the game? People are still using bosses and hacks in game.

That's not exactly the problem if you read what we were talking about. The problem isn't reporting them, it's them not updating their game to get the anticheat implemented into GW2 which for some reason still allows them to hop into online multiplayer despite you needing the update.

@Jacob2of3The fact that the cheaters bypassed it in 5 minutes is something all right.I know this is petty but lets not forget it took them months to make this and they shot down the mystery portal fix for this only for it to just make the game worse. Pvz fans taking another L.Agreed. This update needs immediate fixing or should just be done from scratch again as all its done is make the game worse for legitimate players and good modders while doing nothing about the actual problem.Already seeing several subreddit players uninstalling the game till this issue is resolved sadly since the update has quite literally made the game unplayable for several of them.

@stukapooka Mods just take longer load now. The anti cheat didnt do anything and is causing a lot of problems. At least you can customize the splash screen.

@dastrictorPart of me wishes it was given to another company at this point.

It's clear that the games do sell when the right time and effort is put into them. It's just that the management of them sucks as seen with the cancellation of several promising projects for no good reason.
They clearly want the series to branch out and expand but they keep tripping over their own feet. Self sabotage at its ugliest.
Apparently they have been banning people criticizing them on the discord (apparently some were being rude but after everything thats happened I understand why so many are just taking the gloves off at this point) so who knows what will happen next since they havent said anything here yet.

Basically the title. I have tried starting on steam and EA and at all times it crashed because of the anticheat. I uninstalled the anti cheat 2x didnt work, repaired it, didnt work. What do I do?
