[PC] PvZ GW 2 Audio and Performance Issue After Launching

hey, just got pvz gw2 on steam and can anybody help me with an issue I'm having, the game is running at like 20 fps when i have a good pc that can run all games at 120 usually. the audio is also super low quality and when the game is open it degrades all the sound quality on my pc, the spotify music ci had on suddenly started to sound all muffled and bad. really want to play the game as I had it on console years ago but its unplayable for me like this and idk what to do. I reached out to EA support and they said they cant do anything about it which is great. any help would be appreciated thanks
