[PC] Unable to input anything into Garden Warfare 2

Hi all, I have recently come into an issue for when I load up Garden Warfare 2, I am unable to type or click anything. I can still move my cursor but it won't do anything. Can anyone assist?

@ItzNotBailey Being the age of the game, it may be device-related and may not be. That is a harder one to tell really. Can you attach a DxDiag?

of course, here is the file. I know my machine is low to run PvZ GW2 but like I said earlier it used to run completely fine.
