Plant Buff Ideas
Peashooter: Increase chili bean bomb max damage radius slightly add middle damage radius that inflicts 30-45 damage The chili bean bomb seems a bit too extreme in damage numbers (125 or 15) so I...
The idea that the plants are weak compared to the zombies is incorrect, as there are high tier characters on both sides...
Higher tier plants are:
1) Rose: Yes, even after the vicious nerf that changed the triangle button ability cooldown rate from 20 seconds to 60 seconds, Rose is still very good if used correctly...
2) Corn: Very good character, but he could certainly have his triangle button ability fixed to how it was in GW2 where it was simply far smoother. In this game it just feels broken...
3) Sunflower: Still high tier despite the L1 button nerf.
4) Nightcap: A solid character if used correctly. Certainly doesn't need to be more broken than she already is... This character takes a very low level of skill to use and there are technical reasons why she's even easier to use in GW3 compared to how she may have theoretically functioned in GW2. But when you run up from behind on someone you essentially get a free vanquish on people in many cases, with the other user almost having no way to counter or react, depending on the character.
-The Acorn and Snapdragon I haven't Grandmastered yet, so I'm not sure how good they are, but the Snapdragon also feels fairly high tier (if used correctly) and isn't exactly that hard to use. Keep in mind that the category that each character is supposedly supposed to operate under (such as "support, defense, attack") can be completely incorrect. Prior to the Rose nerf, for example, Rose could be used in an unbelievably aggressive style of attack, and the same thing goes for the Engineer currently, who is listed as "support", but can be a devastating attacker...
High tier Zombies are Footsoldier, 80's Action Hero, Electric Slide, All Star, and Engineer and Deadbeard are solid whereas I haven't used the Wizard too much yet... Prior to the new weapon change for the Scientist, he was the worst character in the game hands down, although I haven't unlocked the new weapon so I'm not sure if it changes his overall effectiveness.
