Plant vs Zombies garden warfare

So i buy this game PvZ and give it to my child and have been trying DAILY since xmas to get the bloody thing working.... all it says is lost connection to ea servers EVERY time.... arrrrgghhhhhh anyone get this going?

    This is the biggest rip off I've ever experienced. No matter what I do it refuses to let my Grandson play this stupid game.
