EA is boycotting Steam by pulling all of their new products. They are also still beta testing Origin, which is only a slight touch more advanced than the alpha test of EA Download Manager. Both products fail miserably compared to Steam but EA doesn't have to pay Valve 25% cut. In the end, it's always about the money.
It's not boycotting. You don't want a monopoly in anything. It's just easy to hate on Origin. Competition is good and makes sure both programs keep improving. People are quick to forget how horrible Steam was when it first came out (friends list didn't function for a long time).

And let's not forget how absolutely horrible Steam support is. For the biggest online game store in the world Steam is a total cluster**bleep** when it comes to support (with 14 day waiting times for a simple e-mail reply being "normal"). EA on the other hand has some of the best support I have ever seen. I used to loathe Origin but these days I don't mind it so much. I only run it when I play an EA game, same as I do with Steam. No biggy t.b.h.

I am waiting for help for 2 weeks. I think EA is the worst company i've ever seen.

What is your issue? Is it something we could help with here?
Make a thread and give as many details as you can, including your system specs, error messages, and what you have tried.

Competition is good. So it should be available in more places than Origin or there is no competition.
