plants vs zombies battle for neighbor ville crashing on launch

i bought the game on steam a couple days ago and cant play it because it crashes on launch and when i look at the crash dump it is in some unintelligible alien language that i cant read. I have already tried verifying the game files, clean booting my pc, and trying to open the game as an administrator on both the EA app and steam with no luck. If anyone has any idea how to fix this it would be much appreciated.

    I managed to fix this by repairing the ea anticheat through the installer go to https://help.ea.com/en/help/pc/ea-anticheat/ and scroll down to download the installer and once it is done, open it and hit the arrow on the searchbar to open a drop menu. Scroll down till you see battle for neighbor ville and hit repair and find the file the game is downloaded in and it should work

    The same problem with me. Bought it yesterday via Steam, downloaded. And when I launch the game, the launching window appears, disappears and then nothing happens. Tried a lot of things, including reinstalling the game, steam and EA APP, updating video drivers. What is your region in Steam, SiderealPlane?

    I'm seeing the same problem and so is a friend of mine. 

    Both on Win11 with NVidia graphics cards.

    Unfortunately, your way to fix the problem didn't help me to launch the game :_(
