Plants vs zombies game of the year error crash on GTX960

Question

Plants versus zombies game of the year edition bought on origin-ea.

I can play the game on my 4 core hp g7 laptop or my 8 core desktop both

with AMD GPU's but not on my other pc with an Nvidia gtx 960; the game will

crash as soon as it tries to load with multiple errors and high CPU usage.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, set to run for win XP, win7, win 8

as well as screen resolution to the lowest settings, nothing works.

Nvidia PhysX legacy is installed

@techhead51   Wanted to see if this is still happening? What errors do you get?

On the bottom of the taskbar in the image, there are several error windows about 30 they are all generated from the game.

I had to replace the gtx960 with a gtx650ti with only 1 gb of ram and the same issue, gpu driver version 457.09.

I do not have an issue running the game on either apu cpu 6620g with 3 gb and rx580 with 8gb vram.

The issue is only on when using the game on a nvidia gpu
