This is a better way:

nVidia Control Panel -> 3D Settings -> Program Settings ->  Add (PvZ) ->  Change SLI to single

(( By default this is off if you have 2x, 3x, 4x GPUs... so I'm curious if you have this issue ))

(( I am not sure how it defaults if you have a double GPU - single card like a 690 for example ))

    In reference to?  Crossfire?

    Crossfire should work with latest beta drivers in this game.  If not you can disable it through Catalyst.  If you can't get it disabled, RadeonPro can likely disable it.

    If you still cannot get it disabled using Borderless mode should disable it.
