Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare Doesn't Launch

Hello. A few days ago I bought Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare from Origin. I downloaded it an when I click to play button the game opens but with a black screen a few seconds later I receive an err...

    What I put in:

    Geforce
    700M series

    740m

    Windows 8.1 64bit

    ===

    I'm GUESSING on the 740m part.. because your DXdiag isn't complete.  I found it through google that is likely the one.... since like all those drivers are the same I doubt it really matters.

    Example:  If I put in a desktop GPU that's 5 years older and on Windows 7.. I get the exact same driver file download.  Really doubt it's important we are exact on those details.

Sorry, some of them are not english 'cause I couldn't  install the english language pack to my computer. :catsad: :cathappy:

No language doesn't matter.

nvwgf2umx.dll

nVidia drivers are causing it....

I don't see any mention of an nVidia GPU in your DXDiag though.. nor do I see (what I think is) your laptop specs when I look it at on lenovo's website... that is throwing me a bit.

... I'm just beside myself right now because I can't find a single refrence to nVidia on the DXDiag... not a dll or anything.  

Okay more digging.. I did find some stuff talking about a 740m.  Let's assume it has an HD4600 with a 740m.

Try updating the nVidia drivers from here:

http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

During installed Click  Custom/Advanced ->  Click the box that says "Clean Install"

Now set PvZ to force use the 740m

nVidia Control Panel -> 3D Settings -> Program Settings -> Add Program (PvZ.exe) -> High Performance Processor

    I think it is going to work but there's a problem I don't know the product type, product series product and beta of my computer how am I going to do it? :catsad: :catsad: :catsad:
