Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare Glitches

My 7 year old son spent his Christmas Money on the PVZ G W game on the PC - download code brought from Argos. He already played the previous PVZ game on his tablet and DS so I checked the age recommendation (7) and let him buy it. Now it appears that it will not play on my year old Windows 8.1 computer as it does not meet system requirements. Really not impressed. Feels like you're stealing kids' pocket money.  Any ideas if there is a resolve for this, other than me buying a new computer?

This game requires a gaming computer for the most part.  It launches and plays on office grade computers (just using CPU Graphics) but not very well in most cases.  The newest and best Intel IGPs or higher end AMD APUs can probably play it fairly reasonably.

The Intel HD4000 came out in 2011 I believe is probably the most commonly found IGP in laptops.  It can play it but it isn't beautiful or smooth.  I've played a few rounds with my office laptop in hotels and it's playable albeit a tad frustrating when you are used to silky smooth.

Can you post your DXDiag and the error messages you are getting?
