- 5 years ago@SundropDot The placement matches aren't fixed. I won all 5 of my placement matches and still got placed in C-. It should've put me at around A+. I don't think rank matters right now. It's time played.
- 5 years ago@Joseph2004045 The placement matches are not placement, they are to see how well you play and make the teams "balanced", honestly it's better that you make the games as bad as possible, even if you are very good, so the matchmaking always puts you with another good player , if you make them too good, you can stop playing that month because you are not going to win any game, it will put you with bad players because the matchmaking will think you are very good. I say It because it has happened to me, i won the 5 matches with more than 8 kills each and then i lost 20 battles and won 3, im c- and i dont play this gamemode anymore. Last season i won only 1 out of 5 matches and at the end of the month i was A- with about 70 wins 50 losses
- 5 years ago@PezGloboHD Then why are they called "Placement Matches?"

@SundropDotYes. The devs need to listen to the talented PvZ players in order for the game to actually go anywhere in terms of balance and major bug fixing. I think they're just listening to the casuals and not the pros.

Funny - I tried to explain this concept before as well... it would be the end-all/be-all answer.
A few monsters (in-game) from these boards, a few from reddit, and all platforms. We could comprise a panel that would fix the game in less than 3 patches.
By the time anything is actually “fixed” or put into place, everyone of us will be gone.

Thats kinda why the idea was to stop the development of new gameplay for that month, since we can see from the dataiming, that alot of stuff is being done under the hood, but that also keeps ressources away from fixing balance and bugs.
- 5 years ago@Joseph2004045 Not even that. The balancing is usually reasonable, as in even if you don't necessarily agree with it, you can see where the change came from. But with the Chomper and Snapdragon changes? Which casual asked for those? No-one thought these changes were necessary. Quite frankly, it's ridiculous that these balance changes went through.
The developers of BFN all conferred to come with these changes. That means not only did someone come up with the terrible idea, but developers agreed with it, enough to actually make the change. That's bizarre and confusing. Please, Popcap. Explain what went wrong here.- 5 years ago@shurikeninja I would really like if we could get the dev reasoning behind the changes again, like we got in the october update.
