@TheSprinter85 Yes #repairville. Well, I was skimming through the BFN discord, and John said that the team have been looking at the feedback on forums, discord and reddit. It's just, they DON'T TELL us that or any info about it. However, he did say some exciting stuff would be upcoming tho....

- @TheSprinter85 But I did wanna say this isn't my idea, it's just something I posted. Someone else on this forum spread the idea and is the sort of 'founder', I just wanted to create a post about it because it was something the game needed.

Adding small balancing and bugfix patches at middle of each month sounds good.

I love PvZ and the shooters especially. I want to see BfN be amazing as it could be. Get stuff fixed and the balance tuned in, then we can get new characters and maps. I really want that Berry Brigade character but only after things are running better!
- @Iron_Guard8 Yh, the bugs and balancing really needs to be addressed. Falloff and ttk modifications still needs adjusting, bcuz it still feels unbalanced and every patch brings a new meta, when really it should balance everyone out.
PvZ deserves more attention, it has a really great community that fights for this game's benefit!

In fact, it's the reason why I play these games; it isn't competitiv like Fortnite, & everything is welcome to this community. That’s why many of us are leaving. Developers literally IGNORE this forum and praise toxic communities such as Reddit. 🤷🏼♂️
Even if the development team doesn’t want to take the advice of those of us who’ve been here for years, they could still acknowledge us....
Fact is, EA staff can’t change anything with the game and/or gameplay and Popcap doesn’t care.
Not trying to be a downer but warn others to manage expectations so you don’t end up wasting countless hours per day on a forum that doesn’t care and CANNOT change the game.
What a wasted chance to cater to your target crowd. Instead, they take for granted we’ll keep lapping up the shortcomings.... 😡
- @spIash_damage It's strange with the reddit. I've been there since 2015 and I switched over here recently because of the fights and also that 95% of the content there is lately just memes and sketches. I find much more useful content, suggestions and ideas on this forum, also more friendly (and helpful) people.
I trully don't understand why devs ignore the official forum for the game. - @spIash_damage You are so right. Even on this forum, it seems like nothing gets their attention at all. They should be flattered that their community cares about their game, and ppl rn are doing so much for repairville, but they just don't want to contribute. We barely hear any news from pvz devs, and rlly, the only thing we get from them communication wise is the patch notes (btw Tourist Trap Island removed today to check lag issues). But still, even the QOL cards (stream sniping and DX12 support) have been removed from the trello board which clearly shows that PopCap didn't care about it, despite it being their since founders'.
- @Shadowphinx101 Wait so they're not going to add streamer mode? That's a shame, so many PvZ youtubers don't play the game anymore because of targeting.
I only joined Reddit in the first place due to GW2. The GW Reddit can get pretty bad, but there are some good posts there. It can be hard to find them through the constant barrage of memes and 'BfN suxxors' posts. There are worse Reddits out there, but considering that the PvZ IP is directed at a wider audience age range, you'd really think they'd focus their attention here.
They've been quiet on Reddit and Twitter lately though too, that's part of why some of us are more concerned than we may otherwise be. BfN has a lot of things that need to be resolved and the fact that the devs are so quiet about this only makes people assume the worst.
I don't expect them to post all the time, but this is the official forums where they're in control, it makes more sense for them to be here than Reddit where things can get nasty. On Reddit they can ask to have a toxic thread deleted, but there's no guarantee, whereas here they can just remove it as they like.
We want to see the devs here more often, as I've said elsewhere, once we can actually be in the same room safely, I'd love to just hang out with the dev team for awhile. I also would like to see more sub topics on the forums, like I see in other games so it's easier to find stuff.
- @shurikeninja Well I don't rlly no, but I noticed John changed the trello board. They are going to look at Tourist Trap, but they have COMPLETELY removed the Quality of Life section, including the streamer mode. So, they probably aren't going to add it, considering it's been there for months.
They really should add a streamer mode. Zack has slowed on his videos (even though his last BfN video has over 100k views), and I haven't seen any from Wolfy or Zero in a bit. I can't see adding that as a bad thing, even if you don't watch them, it makes the game more enticing to see people actually enjoying the game and sharing that on Youtube.
- @Iron_Guard8 Yes, it is really disappointing. I haven't even seen them on reddit. Their twitter has no information about BFN, and rlly the only time we see communication is for patch notes and new prize maps.
- @Iron_Guard8 Sad news about Wolfy rlly. He said he was gonna slow down on PvZ, came back a few weeks later, got targeted and I'm pretty sure he's in no rush to go back to the franchise. Zero doesn't post it as often now, and he definetly doesn't stream it often, I would say once a week. It's really sad, even though YT and streamers are what popularise and keep the hype for games.
@EA_David It's been a few weeks now, is there any sort of update perhaps on the bfn roadmap/about the repairville idea?

- @TheSprinter85 Yes, I really would. If that's possible and no hassle to you. Because, whilst it's been acknowledged, I just feel like it hasn't done anything. Whilst I am not happy with the current state of BFN, I still and always will still have hope. But if you do, I would greatly appreciate it.
