Playing Plants v Zombies on XBox360

My son is trying to play this on a new xbox and it won't go past what seems to be an update prompt. The disc has previously been played on his brothers xbox.
What is stopping it completing loading the game, they have the same permissions etc. any thoughts gratefully received
