Playstation4 pre-order deluxe content for PSN sub-account?

Hi,

The pre-order deluxe content is available in the mailbox for the main PSN account, but not in the mailbox for the PSN sub-account actually used to play the game....

The characters and loyalty from GW1 were properly claimed by the PSN sub-account  but the deluxe content isn't there.

How can I get the deluxe content for the PSN sub-account as well?

Thanks.

I asked around, the way it works on PS4 is the pre-order content is allotted to one account only, which I suppose defaults it to the main account.

  • It will be interesting to see if they ever do anything about this.  The pre-order stuff would be nice to have for my daughter as I don't really play the game myself.

@Gorantoth So far we haven't seen any response from EA other than the original "solution", so it's difficult to assess whether a fix is in their plans or not. I hope it is as both my boys are nagging me regarding the pre-order stuff.

I must admit I'm pretty disappointed with myself for not checking this ahead of time and running into this same issue, but I will also add my voice to the frustration here.

I have an 11 year old and an 8 year old, both with their separate sub-accounts, that saved up their money to buy the deluxe edition.  And are now both pretty disappointed that they don't get to access the deluxe content.  I felt so bad that *I* gave them a partial refund out of my own pocket!  Admittedly, they do play the game enough for me to not return it back to Amazon, and I do play once in a while on my account so they can see the content, but it kinda just leaves them frustrated every time...

Seems like a relatively simple solution would be to have EA do the same thing that was done with the content import from PvZ:GW -- and just apply the deluxe content to the main account and all sub-accounts.  This should already work just fine, because when I went to the mailbox on my own account, I got the GW1 content for characters that I actually never earned on my main account, but that my kids had earned on their sub-accounts.

Anyway, still a fun game, but would love to have EA actually resolve this nicely...

  • I was surprised too when I found out that my two boys would not have access to the deluxe content on their accounts.  I would have simply bought the base game if I would have known this.  This is a bad move by EA.  Definitely won't be buying any EA deluxe versions in the future.

I just purchased the Deluxe Upgrade on a sub account, AND coins, I purchased it via Playstation App, but when I started GW2, there was nothing in my mailbox. Before purchasing it, the mailbox never gave me an option to upgrade.
