I didn't see anyone personally attack you.
It was pointed out that your request is selfish. And it is.
You are asking the game developers to change their game to fit your personal playing habits.
You claimed that the developers are "demanding" too much time of you. They are not demanding anything from you.
If you are too busy to play this because you have more than 10 other games you play, then that is your issue alone.
It is pretty narcissistic to expect the developers to change their game for you.
Personally I think it is too easy now to get tickets.
At any rate it doesn't matter if it's playing 19 other mobile games , or mowing the lawn, or working... right now it takes WAYYYYYY too long to acquire the event cards.
Let me give you an example: if you want to win them without spending gems you are talking about a round the clock vigil if you intend on utilizing every 4 hour 150 ticket boost , and that is ASSUMING you don't have to play multiple games to win , and gain those tickets. Then, in between it's 15 per WIN , so the metric is 10x on the non boosted wins?
My suggestion is actually quite good, I think...
Increase non-boosted ticket wins to 20 tickets for a win(and I would also suggest 5 for a loss--- that way someone gets SOMETHING for the time invested)...
In addition to the ticket increase, simply allow us to bank 4,000 tickets. IN WHAT WAY is that suggestion anything but good? We still have to do the "work" to earn the 4K banked tickets...
It's a quality of life issue... if we are allowed to bank those tickets, let's say we have something going on one week and WANT to play just as much as we normally would, but just can't get the time... easy and efficient solution. And IF ANYTHING it might also help increase gem spending on pop cap's side.
Example: I am in the middle of a busy week... I have 4K tickets banked... I blow the banked tickets and grab 2 cards... then I drop 1,000 gems and buy the other two and I'm done for the week on the "grind" freeing my time to happily login and grab the free gems, build up my bank, and do the daily challenge...
That is a WIN WIN WIN for everyone!
We get more TIME
Pop Cap gets happier players and increased gem spending...
I'm not narcissistic, I'm thinking of a global solution for EVERYONE that makes the game BETTER(more enjoyable) AND enhances sales for them.
- 9 years ago@Clarent1975 It comes down to decisions and priorities. I'm not saying yours are wrong or less important than anyone else's. Which is why the devs have afforded you three options. 1. Play the game. You can earn every card in the game just by playing. If you choose to do other things, i.e. play another game, more the lawn, watch tv/ movie, etc., You can instead 2. Purchase with gems. 700 of which (at least... Depending on how many devices you play on) you get for free! With minimal play (you can get one card solely from completing every daily challenge) and ten dollars spent a week, (which is what you said you're okay with anyways with banking) you can have all 4 weekly event cards (with gems left over!)... If that's still too much to ask, you can 3. wait a while after the event (generally two or three months) and craft them.
Now, what you're asking for is the ability to bank tickets during the times when your schedule and priorities allow you to play more... Giving yourself another easy option to pick up free cards when it suits your schedule (and hold on to those gems you just want to bank for more free cards, i'd assume). Which, sure, is a "win, win, win" for just about every player, but what about the devs who continually produce new content and patches for the game? Is it a win for them to give you another way to get free stuff?
I get it, time is valuable. I haven't had much recently due to work, which is why I'm paying money to keep up and, at the same time, support the devs behind the game i love.
And justifying to yourself that you deserve more free stuff over them having families to support, and bills to pay is, in fact, selfish. Nothing to get upset about, it isn't a personal attack, just an observation. There's nothing even wrong with being selfish, just don't expect other's to always be on board (Hell, I'm very selfish. It's why i chose not to have kids). But wanting to have the same things as others who have put in the time and or money to this game for nothing/or when it is convenient for you, is selfish. - Anonymous9 years ago

IMO, decreasing ticket (from 2000-1600-1400-1200 to 4x1200) and daily challenge worth of 1200 ticket are much generous option. and i'm shocked to see players who feel their generosity is not enough. are you trying to make developer broke?

The best way the developer's can keep PvZH on the money train is to create an atmosphere where players want to play and want to pay. The more you dictate when players must play, how players must play, and how much players should pay, the less viable your game is for the long term.
- 9 years ago@AphidOfDeath while i don't disagree... At what point should they make money? You can get one free card from just playing every daily challenge (with a free pack on to of it). That's seven games in a week. And another just by watching all your videos. That means you're left to earn two free cards from play.
While you're not incorrect that they need to create an environment where people want to spend money to support and play... ...that's exactly what this is. It's not asking a ton to get people to earn the other two cards earlier than crafting by playing games (giving them a reason to continue playing and keeping the active population high) or spending ten dollars to get the gems to purchase those final two (giving them a reason to spend money to stay current if they can't afford more time).
So again, at what point do they make money? I mean, they're all free if you play enough! Sounds like a good deal to me!
