@daalnnii - As far as earning tickets goes, I think that they've done an excellent job of making four copies available to most players.  Fairness is a matter of perspective and isn't likely one of the inputs in their "maximize the money" algorithms for making adjustments and decisions.  If I get to the point where I feel like they're making* me play when they want me to play instead of playing when I want to or can play, then I'll drop this game just like I've dropped others that decided it was the best way to get my money.  The most I've spent on any app game is PvZ2 because I was able to play at my own pace and offline, and all purchases were for desirable but not needed to win plants. 

*No one needs to remind me that EA/PopCap is "making" me play this game.  If you'd like though, we can engage on a discussion of the relevant psychology in a separate venue.

I have no problem with how @Clarent1975 is reacting to many of you now as Clarent's idea was called "selfish" immediately and later Clarent is indirectly labled "entitled". 

Be fair, how many suggestions for improving the game don't benefit a certain set of players, especially the poster posting the proposal?  Aren't you glad that they finally took someone's suggestion that gems-for-ads be dropped from 10 to 5?  Aren't you glad that they finally took someone's suggestion that the 5000-gem superpack be replaced with a $39.99 purchase option? 

Remember when someone asked that recycled event cards generate more sparks and that person with the "selfish" idea was labled "entitled"?  And now there has been post after post after post decrying the most recent change that event cards now recycle for more sparks!

We don't have EA/PopCap's data on player engagement and spending patterns, so we can't debate banking 4,000 tickets based on those criteria.  We also can't say "hey, I play this game just fine, so you should to" because we live in different worlds and have different lives. 

Clarent's idea for banking tickets offers more flexibility to when someone has to play.  Over the course of time, that person banking tickets must still play just as many games or be engaged with PvZH as much as someone who is playing/engaging casually/regularly.  Is it so bad that this change benefits someone working 7-on-7-off (that's 80 hrs one week and then completely off the next)  more so than the person who works 9 hrs a day in an office with wi-fi who gets to play practically whenever they want?  Again, you still have to earn the tickets to actually bank them.

Please keep discussions like this civil between each other. There is no need for insults or attacks on other people just based on ideas you don't agree with.

We want discussions to happen here and like seeing different peoples views, it's okay to disagree but not in the manner this thread seems to be going.

I'll leave this thread unlocked for now but if it continues down the current route I'll need to lock it.

I disagree with the idea of banking tickets. The way it currently works, makes the player play the game every day if they want to get those event cards for free. They go online and play a few matches, complete their quest and watch some ads while they at it.

Why I disagree is: If it was allowed to bank tickets, players will no longer have to login every day. They can just forget about the game for a day. Which means they won't go online, play matches, complete quest and what might be possible the important reason of all; they won't watch their ads on which the game makes money off of.

Sure, there will be people that still play it for the gems but the amount of people will be drastically lowered. Heck, there might even be people complaining that the game doesn't offer enough free gems while they aren't playing themselves, BECAUSE the game allowed them to forget and take a day off. If it wasn't for the event cards I wasn't playing the game every day and I wouldn't have gained those free gems from quests and ads which I used for Galactic Gardens packs.

The idea of earning tickets when you lose is a bad idea and will be abused. You can just concede or disconnect the first turn when you start the battle and repeat.

Increasing the tickets isn't necessary either as you can currently easily earn all four copies just by playing and if needed spend your earned gems towards boosts or flat out buying the cards. Just like a few people mentioned already.

But when do people have time to bank tickets? I think that would be during the weekends. But they can't bank tickets if they haven't collected all four event cards that week and like you said: not everyone has time to play the game every day. This means you've to collect them within 4-5 days and let me tell you this; for me it takes at least 6 days to collect all four and I've enough time to play every time my boost is ready.

But lets say you collected all four copies before Saturday and you start grinding tickets, I do believe the population will rise during the weekends, like you said. But what will players do when they've little time on other days to play PvZ Heroes and already have the max. amount of tickets in the bank? They don't have to play the game and can skip a day or more which decreases the population drastically, which is what I meant when I mentioned in my previous post.

The game wants the amount of players to be evenly spread throughout  the week so you can easily find a match. If the game allows people to follow their own schedule, then that would make a disbalance in the matchmaking, which already takes a very long time sometimes.

This is why it is important that we keep things balanced and why I disagree with your idea. What I mentioned about conceding or disconnecting on purpose was about receiving tickets when you lose, I think you misunderstood that bit.

But still, if you've enough time to get the tickets before the weekends, do you really need a banking system? And if you can't, then you won't be able to get them before the weekend and you won't be able to grind for tickets to bank.
