Not sure if it's intended or not, but just last night I had an instance where someone played this combo. Realizing what was about to happen, I sent in a zombie to take out Heartichoke. I managed to do enough damage to kill it, but the combo still kicked in and ran until my shield filled up. I could understand it maybe triggering once, but if killing something prevents additional attacks like Double Strike and Frenzy, shouldn't it prevent this combo, too?
Maybe they should make it so that an ability has to be triggered while the plant is alive, so the loop would run once but then wouldn't trigger again?
The combo triggers because the effects of Venus Flytrap is still in place and has priority. Thats the same reason why zombies with 2 hp die if you move them out of conezone
I see this combo played much less frequently since S2 was released. Still good, but people are finding ways that are less dependent to win games.
