The combo triggers because the effects of Venus Flytrap is still in place and has priority. Thats the same reason why zombies with 2 hp die if you move them out of conezone
I see this combo played much less frequently since S2 was released. Still good, but people are finding ways that are less dependent to win games.

How is it possible? if heartichoke+ flytrap loop are from the season 2. -_-Well, they were playable pre S2. But I meant the use of them that I've seen has declined since the beginning of S2.

Thats normal for combo.....people realize that OTK in 50% of the games than winning by generating momentum and value over the course of the game and winning in a less pronounced manner but more often is bad
