Please bring back the neutral state for zones in Suburbination

Not only have they removed the garden/graveyard dynamic in Suburbination, you don’t even have to build up or deconstruct the capture zones. It just shifts immediately, and changes to your team’s color. It’s bland. It’s boring. It lacks any impact the mode used to have. And it makes it significantly easier to just dominate the game.

  • @SockReverie The ring around the area does change colour immediately, but you have to stay in the circle for a short time before it's fully captured (there's a small effect when that happens)

Agree it's not particularly exciting though!
  • You’re correct that you no longer have to cancel the opposing teams ownership of an objective before starting to capture it for your team but you also don’t capture immediately; the zone will immediately change color to show that it’s being captured but you need to stay in it until the capture is complete.

the GW2 mechanic did make for more drawn out battles- it seems that a lot of modes and mechanics in BfN were simplified or made easier in order to chase the casual gamer market and lower the skill requirement.

I, and many other PvZ vets, were disappointed in the new direction and focus.

  • This is a poorly made spinoff of the GW shooter series. It does have the foundation and potential to be great but keeps taking 1 step forward and 2 backwards. Popcap- fix these mistakes please.
