Plumbing Gig Guide (Plants Town Center)!
Hey everyone,
I will be going over a somewhat secret activity that is available in Plants Town Center only, and none other of the free-roam regions: The Plumbing Gig. There are a total of 3 medals locked behind this activity. To get these 3 medals, you must complete the activity and prerequisites, which I will cover here in this guide. So anyway, read on if you do not even know what this is or need assistance doing it.
What is the Plumbing Gig?
The Plumbing Gig is a replayable activity which is located in the Sewers. When you interact with the nearby portrait, you then need to interact with the Plunjolnir, which will give you a majorly increased damage boost and also a 10% XP boost, and multiple enemies will appear, including and limited to: Yetis, Super Brainz and Yeti Imps, however you can vanquish all of them quickly because of your majorly increased damage boost. If you are playing with others, only the player who picks up the Plunjolnir will gain the damage boost, however you may gain it temporarily as well by entering its radius. Being vanquished makes you lose the Plunjolnir and you will need to reattempt. To win the activity, you must defeat 15 Yetis within a minute (which you can vanquish quickly), they will reappear when you vanquish some during the activity. If you fail, you will need to spend 75 Tacos again, so it is very good to try and win it quickly - I have attached tips below!

If you need assistance with collecting Tacos (it takes 75 Tacos to attempt the Plumbing Gig), visit my guide on collecting Tacos a bit more easily: https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion/Plants-amp-Zombies-Town-Center-Tacos-Guide-and-Earning-them/m-p/9302561/highlight/true#M23338
Secret Invoices (Prerequisite)
Before you actually are able to begin the Plumbing Gig, you must find 6 Secret Invoices which are located around Plants Town Center. There are telescopes to look through. To find a Secret Invoice, simply look through the telescope and a beam of yellow light will appear. Exit the telescope and go to where the yellow beam of light was, there should be a dirt pile, you should be able to "dig it up". If you do, you will get a Secret Invoice. Finding 1 gives you a special medal, while finding all 6 gives you another medal. Once you have collected all of them, you may then do the Plumbing Gig any amount of times you like. You cannot find Secret Invoices from digging up the dirt piles if you have not first looked through its respective telescope. The dirt piles are brown, but they glow once you have got to them and you have looked through your respective telescope.
To know the location of all 6 Secret Invoices, watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9H_hWxugSoI
The telescopes look like this:
If you look through it, you will see a yellow light, like this, after you have seen the light, exit the telescope and there will be a glowing dirt pile where the light was, dig up the dirt to collect that Invoice:
Location of Plumbing Gig
The Plumbing Gig is located in the Sewers of Plants Town Center only, near Up-Down Uptown. There is a portrait of a lady near one of the entrances, which you can interact with once you have collected all the Secret Invoices for 75 tacos per attempt. It is also located close to the Gnome Shrine.
This is what the portrait looks like:

Tips for Completing the Plumbing Gig!
My personal tips to make the Plumbing Gig easier are as follows:
- Now, while your damage gets extremely amplified by about 40x while you have the Plunjolnir, try to use a character with either a high original damage output, so you can insta vanquish each Yeti, or with high speed so you can hit enemies more rapidly. This is also good to consider to battle the time limit.
- It is very good to improve your character's survivability, as being vanquished makes you lose the Plunjolnir. Healing capabilities, high health and shield access are all excellent for this. Consider those 3 stats when you decide which character you want to use.
- Use cover throughout the Sewers area if you need to reload your abilities or heal up, but try and be quick because you are on a time limit.
- Upgrades that activate when you get vanquishes are excellent for this challenge because you can get vanquishes really easily. Consider those sorts of upgrades.
- Regeneration, healing and life steal upgrades are great to consider, even ones when you get vanquishes, you can keep yourself really durable through the whole fight. Time limit will be your only enemy then. Upgrade examples include Vampiric, Low Life, Fearless (excellent choice), Health Regeneration and Health Regeneration Delay, along more.
- Consider your character and upgrades before attempting the Plumbing Gig since it is pretty expensive in Tacos to attempt.
- Do not use Cactus' drone, due to a bug, you will immediately fail the activity if you use the drone.
Medals You Receive
For completing this activity along with its prerequisites, you gain a total of 3 medals. They are as follows:
- Can I Dig It? - you get this medal by finding 1 Secret Invoice.
- Yes, You Can Dig It! - you get this medal by finding all 6 Secret Invoices.
- Clog Day Afternoon - you get this medal by winning the Ancient Plumbing Gig for the first time.
These medals mean you do need to complete these activities to complete your region. These activities are not located in any other free-roam region.
Conclusion
Now, while these side activities and quests are somewhat hidden, they need to be completed if you are to fully complete your Plants Town Center region. For this reason, if you did not know about these activities, hopefully you do now! Honestly, they are all quite easy, I did never have much trouble, but if you want assistance feel more than free to refer to this guide! Also, something else I have not mentioned yet is, if you take the time to pick up Tacos during the Plumbing Gig, you can earn some of your tacos back.
Bye!
