Well, i will play on words and say that it's already possible to unlock it ! Just have to go back on PvZGW1 and max rank. Period.
I didn't grind for it because i was already level 313 a long time before they even anounced PvZGW2 but it was a nice -unexpected- gesture from the devs to the "hardcore" players, inclunding those who max rank recently to get this Unicorn Chomper without complaining actually.
And it has to stay that way ! It's not like it was a short time thing, people got all year to get it which is way too much if you ask me.
Besides, all the reasons given by people who complain and want an "easy" way for it aren't good enought.
- empty slot in the chompers statues > it should only appear when you have the UC unlock
- not enought time (life,work,school,family...) > we all have that and yet we've made it
- lazyness > well you really think you deserve it ? lol
