Fung fu was NOT fine lol. It insta kills every zombie in its radius, its easy to pull off since u have stealth to get in close, and once shes activated it she becomes extremely hard to hit because her hitbox constantly shifts and can move so theres no running away from it. One of her upgrades also allows her to move even faster and jump during it making her even more ridiculous to kill.
Theres a difference between a low skill-floor character, one that new players can pick up and play, and a pubstomp character who anyone can instantly pick up and dominate with. Nightcap was the definition of a pubstomp character, low skill, high reward. New players can have fun with a low skill required character sure, but they shouldnt be able to dominate the game. Otherwise whats the point in learning to play high skill characters when you can get more value by playing the easier ones.
solo oak is vastly superior to solo station, i dont know what youve been smoking. Solo oak has more health, more range, more damage than a station. All station has is cratermaker which is amazing dont get me wrong, but is easy to avoid just sprint away and she wont be able to keep up. If youve tried playing spacestation in pve you would understand. Even the ai are clever enough to just walk away from you when you use it.
A 4 man station is really strong but thats the point 🤦🏻♂️ these are classes that are supposed to destroy when u get 4 players working together. People saying things like ‘a full space station is broken’ clearly dont understand how these multi-people classes are designed to work. If they werent strong there would be no point in teaming up ypu may as well run around solo. Which is the exact opposite of oak. It is always better to run around as solo oaks than team up because oak is just so good.

If I had to pick a favorites, for plants it's between Citron and Corn even though Corn's bad... Also really like Chomper.
And for Zombies probably Super Brains and Engineer, who I'll admit Super Brains needs a nerf and I think Engineer's stun needs a nerf for the duration....lasts too long.
I also play a lot of Imp and a decent amount of solider/Deadbeard but playing solider generally makes me want to blow my brains out.If you truly want my predictions, I'd say Nightcap's going to be fine but none of us know because the details they gave us aren't numbers. We have no idea how much they are nerfing/buffing any characters, only a vague idea. Unless they completely take Fung Fu's damage and beat it with a hammer, he's probably going to be just fine to play for decent players.
Nightcap should never be designed as the "noob" character for people starting out. Invisible assassins should never be the go-to characters for people learning the game and if they are, there is probably something wrong with balance. But that's my opinion, you are welcome to yours.

Also I feel like Corn's currently better than Foot Solider, so I can kinda understand them buffing him a bit more than Corn. I dunno, I feel like I can actually play current Corn meanwhile solider just feels so awful to play but maybe it's not his fault... Zombie teams are always just so bad and only play Deadbeard meanwhile plants actually pick characters that actually play objectives like Oak.

I just want people to start their own thread and not hijack mine.
I posted the screenshots so everyone could see the changes. I spoke very briefly on those changes and gave liberal/generic predictions about those changes. In turn, we have people trying to debate the way many of us feel about the game and not making any predictions. Go find the many posts on Nightcap to complain about her. I went as far to show the disclaimers of those I play and not, in relation to my post.
These NEW, combative attitudes are trash in this forum and the reason I don't fool around on Reddit.
Rolling eyes (smilies), making sarcastic gestures/remarks and all the NEGATIVE innuendo is toxic for the community and makes people with opposing OPINIONS feel unwelcome here.

@jayalder - I never said a balance wasn't needed.. I just don't think what was announced qualifies as balancing ANYTHING. I listed those reasons without bias. I also said the ranged primary fire on NC needed nerfing. I CANNOT HELP IF YOU'RE HAVING TROUBLES WITH NIGHTCAP. I SLAUGHTER her...spankings like a bad kid. Over and over. I hear her initiate Fung Fu, sprint a few yards away, and start counting my kills. If you've been a part of this forum for longer than today, you'd know I thought buffs should come out before nerfs. That's just my point of view, man. No reason to twist my words and say I didn't want balancing to occur... I think the way it was handled was premature and made predictions for after the changes take place. I'm not trying to make enemies. I thought having predictions (in "writing") would be cool.... it would allow us to see who was right about the outcome/effect it (the balance) would have on the game's flow.- 7 years ago
Night cap needed the nerfs, and solo oak is VASTLY better than solo space station. We don't need "noob friendly" characters at the expense of balance and fair play.

Lolz and you probs don’t seem to understand the low lvl high hitting ninja class in games like these. They need to hit hard and I’ll go on record and say in all similar games they have 1 devastating/1 hit kill!
They need this skill either to be offensive or defensive. I’m not even mad about the nerf. I hardly used Fung Fu offensively unless I was battling 2 ppl. Real masters of NC will have no real issues with these nerfs (unless they are hard nerfs) and still kill ppl and what will ppl say ‘she still needs a nerf!’
why is the damn engineer unscathed? What kinda hopped up sewage water have the devs been drinking? People talking about ‘NC has a one hit kill’ while that fat bloated rascal has the same $£*#% thing when he launches his bullhorn? Being unable to do anything for 3-5 seconds and 90% dying isn’t an insta kill nerf topic it seems. Well guess the devs just wanna please the biggest mouths
