Potential hack about patch status?

I feel like I have been hacked, but I'm not too sure. I was playing the weekly town hall event when I got booted out for failing to connect. I was sure it was normal and did something else. when I came back, it said that it "failed to receive patch status" and allowed me to retry, which didn't help. I tried turning off my computer but to no avail, I checked if the servers are down but it doesn't seem like they are, or its just me. can anyone help?
