Let's make this Community Challenge extremely difficult when it's Mother's Day weekend! :D
Honestly whenever I see a super- specific Community Challenge which can only be accomplished by a majority of the Community switching away from what might be their favorite character or game mode or playing in a fashion which they might not normally I really wonder if we'll hit the top prize or not.
On the first day you can count on a lot of people pursuing the Challenge but after that first day people go back to their favorite character, game mode and play style so you can really tell by the times Friday is rolling by how far we'll get towards the top.

Yeah, I only have the patience to repeat flag of power over and over for so long. I'm busy this weekend and have only been able to contribute 3-400.
There is 24 hours left of this community challenge (at the time of this post), and we're at nearly 12 million vanquishes in total. As I predicted, we'll never reach the red chest target of 20 million.
I think EA needs to stop doing these community challenges on holiday weekends and other special occasions, like Mother's Day. If EA can host the community challenges outside of those holiday weekends and special occasions, it'll be more easier for us to get the red chest targets almost every time.
We are inn 14 million and there are 6 hours left. Do you think we will make it?

It was set too high for such a limited ability set. You can get a lot of vanquishes at the flag of power with both abilities but the cooldowns really hurt the vanquishes overall despite the multi-vanquish capability of them both.
I even used corn and all-stars almost exclusively to get the quests done unless I had to use someone else specifically over the weekend to eke out a few more of these vanquishes. I also think the minimum was a bit low. I had at least 400 myself but the minimum amount of only 50 hurt the bottom line.
I don't mind them setting the goal to a challenging level but I do want them to be more obtainable than the last couple have been.

Based on the large number of All-Stars and Kernal Corns I encountered on Thursday, many obviously representing players just trying to get their minimum before switching back to their favorite character, and seeing that we came within about 5 million of the top goal I think the really low minimum of 50 vanquishes hurt our ability to meet the challenge.
Had they set the minimum higher, say at 250, or even as high as 500, then we would have collected far more vanquishes from that larger segment of the community who wanted to qualify for the prizes but weren't interested in doing more than the minimum while keeping that minimum within reach during casual play during the four days which were available.
