Primary Fire DPS is Too Fast in PvP

Not sure how this is happening but I use my All Star and it takes me much longer to inflict 88 hp on an enemy in PvP than it took this guy to inflict it on me:

I also use the quicker firing upgrades for All Star so not sure why this continues to happen to me.  It happens worst with Soldiers and All Stars.

Nevermind the Imp shooting me through two corners....

  • The only upgrade they could have used that seems to "increase" their DPS is the "Spin Class" upgrade (All Star's primary weapon spins up faster) or you could have got indirectly imp punted as well (not hit for full damage). 🤔

    It's also possible that they were happening to stand next to a heavy helper, if they had an Engineer on their team!

    Otherwise, I'm stumped on why (no pun intended, Oak)!  😮

    EDIT: Checked players on other team, no engineer!

    @TheSprinter85  You can see the teams at the top of the screen - no Engineer this round.  This person is close enough you can hear the audio queue of his primary ramping up and he doesn't seem to have it equipped unless I'm hearing it wrong.  Let's play devil's advocate and pretend he does have it equipped, I use the same upgrade with my All Star and it doesn't fire near as fast.  Makes you wonder why he didn't Imp Punt me first (unless he knew he could kill me quickly)?

    @spIash_damage  I suppose it's because of All-Star's high damage at all ranges, which could be the reason. I find it interesting, because I can't even drop a cactus (at full health) as an All-Star that fast! Fascinating! 🤔

    Headshots (critical damage) are only 10 per shot.  All Star literally does not fire that fast.  I'm not trying to refute your input; simply trying to think of things in a way I haven't.  Bravo to you for going through the same thought process I have.  Super fascinating to me but I will add to this thread the next time it happens with Soldier... that'll blow your mind.... it's wayyyyy worse.

  • I think the damage is fine, some characters just do a little too much damage. It may not seem like it but 10 damage for all star is a lot! Plus there is no fall off damage in this game which is awful
