PS3 PVZ garden warfare freezing and lagging

Question

I am playing PVZ GW on the PS3, and periodically my player in the game will freeze and I will no longer be able to move or issue commands via the controller. After a few seconds, my player can move around fine.

Internet works fine, as this issue happens when no one else is connected and at random times during the day.

Has anyone else experiences this issue?

Wishing the PS3 version did not have the same performance problems of the PC version.

Same issue on ps4 , my character stops moving for a few seconds then it runs fine again. Its kind of like stuttering more than lag

I'm having a slightly different issue with this game.. FREEZING WTF I searched online apparently it happens on xbox 360 and xbox 1 too I deleted and re-installed the game and it still happens
