PS4 Garden Ops: Game crashes at pickup zone

I have played a few Garden Ops post-patch on Xbox One and didn't notice crashes anymore. Are your reports for the new patch that came out or did that happen a few days ago before the patch?
Which maps is it happening in? Any other info you can give might help us track it down. Make sure to @ me so I see the reply
This just happened to me on Aqua Centre (PS4). Not for the first time, but I had hoped the patch would fix it.
It was extra weird because Crazy Dave suddenly appeared and stood in the evacuation zone with us (Garden Ops). It crashed exactly as the timer hit zero. An enchanted garden too and straight after another Garden Ops with an enchanted garden that I had to quit because of lag.
Ops gets worse with each patch. It was fine for the first week but it's constantly unplayable. Lag, rubber banding and abilities not working.
Other multiplayer modes are fine so it's not my internet.
Lag, rubber banding and abilities not working seems to dictate how good you can connect with the host. You'll notice none of these issues happen when you're the host yourself.
Did Dave appear when a textbox has to appear e.g. he wanted to say something? If not, this could be interesting.

Maps are random so no specific ones. But I since I wrote the post I've been reading around and noticed that some bugs are character related. I've been playing the Frozen Citron to get him to Master level, haven't had the crash since I changed to a new plant....
I actually haven't played the Citron since, I'll test it and return with "a report"
