PvZ BFN Xbox Series X Crashes

Currently playing PVZ BFN on a series X and a number of issues occur. Whether on and internal or external drive, after a couple of games I lose all sound followed by being unable to use abilities or shoot and eventually being unable to move. Characters begin disappearing as well. I tried switching to 1080p as the game is not natively on 4k and it crashed within the first match. Currently once any of the above occurs, full reset is the only way to get the game to run again. Games also won't "end", causing me to forfeit all rewards and challenge progress as well. Game was fine on previous gen console. Is there any possibility of at least compatability or optimization updates to fix the mismatch of software to hardware?

    Unfortunately there will be no Updates and/or Patches for this game anymore.

    All I can recommend doing is clearing your MAC Address, and doing a hard reset on your Console.

    Go to Settings, Network, Advanced Settings, Alternate MAC Address, and Clear. Then fully turn off your Console for 30 seconds or so, and turn it back on.

    Launch the game again, and see if you're still experiencing the same issues.

    I’ve been having this exact same problem, it occurs randomly and no matter what character/game mode. The only solution is to completely restart the Xbox, and even then sometimes it just happens again. This is the only game that this happens on, and it even affects the sound on other games if I try loading them up after this bug occurs on BFN.

    This happens for me as well, on both my series x and Xbox one x. Given that this is being released for Switch it's not like its completely dead. Nowhere close! Can we get some help, please?

    I have seen this as well it can occur 1 or 2 times per day.  I also had the enemies turn invisible once after the sound quit.
