This is the error that i received.
But, after i received the error, i uninstalled the game and installed again, which lead to the same error again. After the 3rd try, the game was installed successfully, but still didn't run.

Community AdminThanks. When you enabled the UAC did you get more notifications. You mention taking your AV offline, can you double check that this is disabled? It sounds like Origin is blocked from writing/changing some important files on your computer, and such cases are frequently due to permissions issues or over-zealous security software.
Oh hello. Sorry for not replying sooner. I did enabled UAC and didn't get any notifications. I also recently had some problems with AV and had to uninstall it, so i took the opportunity to try installing the game again, but nothing worked. I also noticed this is only a problem with PvZ, because i installed Zuma's Revenge, Peegle and Bejeweled 3 from Origin, and they all worked fine.
I know it's a long, long time since the last post but I am having the same problem as well. On my Windows 10 Insider Edition, the game works well. On my Wife's Windows 10 Home Edition (We just bought the game for her), it keeps crashing with "Cannot Load Sound/" followed by the name of a sound file which is different each time I try to load the game.
Tried all sorts of compatability modes and nothing worked so I don't know what else to do. Can anyone else help out here with advice please?
