PvZ Garden Warfare 2 (Xbox One) - cannot start game

Hi there,

My boys love this game, but they have not been able to play it for several weeks now because the start just won't start. The following message comes up when they try to start it: 

"Looks like you need to renew EA Access

If your subscription is current, try quitting and relaunching the game. If you tried to launch this from a disc, check the disc - it might be dirty or damaged. (0x803f800d)"

The game is on a disc. There are no scatches on it that I can see and I have cleaned it and it makes no difference. 

In terms of the reference to EA Access, I don't know what the relevance is of that. Surely we don't need to pay a subscription to EA to play a game we have purchased on disc. Besides we also play FIFA 19 and have no problem with that.

I (my sons in particular) would be grateful for your assistance getting this game working again.
