PvZ Garden Warfare crashes while starting on windows 8.1 64 bit,

I just bought PVZ GW on origin and the game crashes every time i try to start it.  The game blacks screens for a sec then pops back and says Plants vs Zombie Garden Warfare has stopped working.

I have Windows 8.1  64 bit, i7-4700MQ cpu at 2.4 GHZ (quad core), and NVIDIA  GTX 770m, direct x 11.

I have tried  adding PVZ to my Nvidia manage settings and I have also tried to to install the stuff in the installer_ folder. I"m still experiencing the same error.

This is what i got from my reliability report techinical details:

    Install Latest nVidia Drivers;

    http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx

    ----------------------

If they are already up to date and re-installing them didn't work.

Go to Control Panel -> Uninstall all nVidia drivers  (3D vision, Audio, Main Display Driver, Physx)

    Restart

    Install latest

    -----------------------

    Sill no?

Uninstall everything from Control Panel (again)

    Go to Safe Mode

    Run Display Driver Uninstaller

    Restart to normal

    Install latest.

    http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

If you get into trouble doing this, go back to Safe Mode w/ Networking.  Go to Devices and remove the Display Adapter, restart.

If you really mess things up bad for whatever reason... System Restore will put everything back.

    --------------------------

If you have "Optimus" which is switchable graphics.  Make sure nVidia Control Panel is forcing the 770m and not letting the Intel butt in.

(Replace BF:H with PvZ; it's the same thing)

nVidia Control Panel -> 3D Settings -> Program Settings -> Add Program (PvZ) -> High Performance Processor

Try disabling the Origin in game overlay in the Origin settings.  I found this solution on my own.  This allowed me to play the game for the first time after 2 months of EA support being unable to give me a solution.

Thank you very very much, stickboy06! Your solution worked. I hadn't been able to play for about two weeks now.
