PvZ Garden Warfare crashes while starting on windows 8.1 64 bit,

I just bought PVZ GW on origin and the game crashes every time i try to start it.  The game blacks screens for a sec then pops back and says Plants vs Zombie Garden Warfare has stopped working. I ha...

Try disabling the Origin in game overlay in the Origin settings.  I found this solution on my own.  This allowed me to play the game for the first time after 2 months of EA support being unable to give me a solution.
