PvZ Garden Warfare PC unable to play with friends

When I'm in Garden Warfare's garden ops there is no button "invite friends", it's just å "leave loby"-button. there is no way for me to invite my friends to a multiplayer match. This is really annoyi...

You probably are unable to Shift+F1 to bring up your Origin overlay aswell; have you disabled your Origin In-game overlay?

The OIG is used for all those in-game invite buttons. If you wish to continue with it disabled, you can Alt+Tab out and invite friends from your Origin Friendlist.

I am having the same issue and when I use the Origin overlay or the Origin Friendlist, my friend is still unable to join.
