Hey i tried what you requested, however i got the same results, after the match i have played my engineer went back to lvl 1.5, even though in the match i got him up to lvl 4.5. Restart gave me back the levels however it only happens when at the start there is a bug where i am the last plant i have picked in the zombie hub and after 1-2 seconds it puts me into the character select screen for the zombies side.
