Have tried clean install of Video drivers after running DDU, both newest and legacy (344.48) version.
No difference.
Have tried undeclocking GPU approx 10% (90 MHz)
No difference
Still seems like PvZ GW wants to use Intel Graphics 4600 instead of NVidia GTX 850. Is there a setting in PvZ GW where
I can choose GPU? (e.g. command line, registry entry, config file, etc.)
Unfortunately no option in BIOS to disable Intel 4600. ☹️
Have tried disabling drivers, but no difference.
Please help.

Wow I completely missed that on your error message.. it is using the intel. Sorry about that.

nVidia Control Panel -> 3D Settings -> Program Settings -> Add Program (PvZ) -> High Performance Processor----------
If it still wants to use the Intel.. some ideas:
Uninstall Intel Drivers from CP. Restart, let windows pick up defaults.
Try the Intel drivers from the computer manufacture website.
Try the Intel drivers straight from Intel's site.

Getting Optimus to work right is a bit of a trial and error, I don't really have a text book way to fix that other than monkey with the drivers until it decides to operate correctly. It might require reinstalling nVidia Drivers after putting clean versions of Intels on.

Perhaps completely clean both off (intel and nvidia)
Load computer manufacture's Intel driver set.
Load nVidia driver set.
- Anonymous11 years agoHave tried:
-Intel and Nvidia drivers uninstall
-reboot
-install latest Intel
-install latest Nvidia
Same error
-cleanup of drivers
-install latest Nvidia
-install latest intel
Same error
Have tried mapping PvZGW to Nvidia card in Nvidia Control Panel
Same error
Can't really try with all possible combos of Intel and Nvidia drivers...
Isn't there a configure file for PvZ GW that controls Graphics usage?- Anonymous11 years ago
No file associated with PvZ can do this as far as I'm aware.
------------
Perhaps try clean wiping the drivers. Install both the Intel and nVidia drivers provided at the computer manufacture's website for your exact model.

Make sure to set PvZ.exe -> High Performance Processor in NCP 3D properties.
If it works to atleast enable the nVidia card (even if it crashes with a different error or has artifacts) Perhaps updating the nVidia drivers will still allow it to work.

perhaps you can monkey with nVidia Inspector (it's nVidia Control Panel on steroids is best way to describe it)
