It seems to be an Xbox One issue. Your version is the Xbox One release right? Personally, I can say this does not seem to occur in the PS4 release. If known, does anybody have this problem with the Xbox 360, PS3 or Origin releases? I think it may be an error in the release build of your specific console release... 😳

Ah, thanks for responding. If that is the case, I might have to ask "Which wave do people usually find this problem?" The furthest wave I have been to is Wave 39 and I got my rewards.
If not, is this version downloaded or released on a disc? One of these factors must be relevant.
I am on Playstation and this has happened to me 4 times. This only happens once I get to the rainbow area because that is when the red singularities start to appear.
Same here. It always annoys me wasting 5 stars and 30-40 minutes of defeating challenging levels.
