PvZ heroes friend list missing

So I played this game earlier this year on a new phone and I recently redownloaded it and realized I had no friends list, I got my friends to redownload as well and they all had friend lists, they can challenge me and send friend requests but I cannot accept friend requests or challenge them. I want this fixed so I can do tournaments with my friends like we used to do, please help me.

    Once you filled your birthday it cannot be changed. Only option is to make new account with correct age.

    What birthday did you submit after installation? If you are underage, then you don't have Friends list.

    @Kermo3 Well I set my age at 16 (my actual age) but if I redownload the app then it gives me the option for like a split second then goes into downloading, is there any other way to get it back?

    No, Friends list is shown only for adults. Sorry. You have to lie about your age to use friends list.

    @Kermo3 I want to it just won’t let me update my age, the option appears for a split second but vanishes before I can change anything

    I can’t see my friends list. I know it’s associated with age, but I just want to play with my friends. I just want to change my age so that I’ll be able to play with my friends. I don’t wanna make a new account because I have some legendary cards. I don’t wanna lose my account.

    I understand that I must change accounts for it to work, the only problem is
    that I have to leave behind years of progress just because of the age system.
    I really wish there was some other way, but there isn't, is there?

    Wait a second, something doesn't add up. In the original post, you said that EARLIER this year, you played this game, and you've just recently downloaded it again implying that when you downloaded the game, you were below 13. Now in the same year this post, you're claiming that you're 16 which doesn't add up
