PvZ Heroes no longer accepts user input after 8/23 update

I just recently updated my game to the newest version and I noticed it wasn't accepting any touch input after I updated. So I reinstalled the entire app 3 times. It gets to the point where it offloads...

    I believe I found the fix! In the settings, go to app manager then go to top right to apps that can appear on top and remove all the checks. Or if you're like me you're using twilight or flux you can just disable that. It worked for me hopefully for you guys too!

You're kidding me! It was Twilight the entire time?! That would explain why it only broke at night.
