PvZ Heroes on Google Pixel 6 Pro: download = connection/crash/freeze.
Hello everyone,
I am experiencing an issue when playing Plants vs. Zombies Heroes on my Google Pixel 6 Pro and I'm hoping someone in this forum can help me out.
After installing the game and opening it for the first time, I was prompted to download additional content. Initially, every time I tried to download the content, I received an error message stating that I have no internet connection, even though I am connected to both Wi-Fi and mobile data. After performing several troubleshooting steps, I was finally able to download the content (Download Link).
However, the game crashed immediately after the successful download of the content. I even recorded a video to demonstrate how the game crashes: Video-Link. As seen in the video, the game crashes in the menu and loading screen, and it freezes with a continuous sound.
I have been trying the game for years on various devices and emulators, including Nox, Memu, and Bluestacks, but I have consistently faced issues. Sometimes the game works for a short while, but then it crashes again or freezes. The picture attached here shows a scene in which the game has crashed.
Here's a summary of the steps I have taken so far to try to resolve the issue:
Checking Wi-Fi and mobile data connections
Restarting the device
Updating apps and operating system
Checking app settings (background data and unrestricted data access)
Disabling VPN/Proxy (if applicable)
Clearing cache and data for the app
Yet, I still encounter the same problem. Has anyone here faced a similar issue and found a solution? Or are there any additional steps I can try to troubleshoot the issue?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I thank you in advance for your support!
Best regards,
Ban
