I had the same problem and I paused it and resumed and it worked for me.
I remember I closed Origin once and reopened when preloading another game worked for me aswell.
You realize he said Xbox One and not PC, right?
I suggest going to "My Games and Apps", highlight Garden Warfare, and then press the menu button. See if there is an option to continue. Otherwise uninstall and then reinstall. After the game fully installs, I suggest doing a full shut down on your Xbox One ( hold the power button for 10 seconds ), wait at least 30 seconds, then press the power button to turn it back on again. Then run the game.
